Spoke Art is excited to share our next exhibition coming to our San Francisco location, SUGOI! An Art Show Tribute to Japanese Animation. For this show we've invited artists from around the world to create all new artwork celebrating our favorite anime. From Akira to Doraemon to Neon Genesis Evangelion to Spirited Away, our artists have pulled inspiration from anime spanning the past few decades. The result is an incredible collection of artwork that will thrill any fan of Japanimation.

Wow! Super pumped to be partnering with @spoke_art again for another group show this Saturday in San Francisco. It's been a few years in the making as covid paused this show and finally, things are happening!
For this show, they invited artists from around the world to create all-new artwork celebrating our favorite anime. From Akira to Doraemon to Neon Genesis Evangelion to Spirited Away, our artists have pulled inspiration from anime spanning the past few decades.
I'm such a huge fan of Miyazaki films ( @ghibliusa ), specifically Ponyo and Totoro. I wanted to bridge his movies with my Alimo world while paying homage to both their environments. The result invites one another to participate in both worlds creating a narrative of exploring.
I had so much fun creating this scene and hope you do as well.

Join us at our San Francisco location July 9th from 4pm - 7pm PT for the opening event. The exhibition will run through July 30th. We are continuing to ask visitors to show vaccination status and wear face coverings while inside the gallery in order to keep our colleagues safe.
